"If they know nothing of victory, they are at least spared the knowledge of defeat."
-The Portrait of Dorian Gray, Oscar Wilde
I have picked up leisure reading again now that I have more disposable time. This is due to the non-working (serving) week I have of which allows for plenty of time to complete homework and projects and leaves time for other pleasures. I picked up the above mentioned book once again for the third time. It's great! It was Wilde's only novel and short one at that. I find it appropriate here because tomorrow we debate "should the structure be servant to the skin" as it relates to Gustaev Eiffels' two structures: The Statue of Liberty and The Eiffel Tower.
Song of the week: Derneire Volonte - Nos Chairs
Off his latest album Devant le Miroir
He's French and his sound is unmistakeable NEO-FOLK and in French, but it's the shit!
