I type this fom my Mom's laptop because my computer is brokon... It finally died after 5 or 6 months running on safe mode only. Alright, I'm not even going to lie and pretend I know what it's like to be DM. Or even that I understand what you're going through. I really don't see why you get stressed out. Maybe next time we hang out you can help me empathize with you and Kacy. The way I see it, being a DM seems more boring than anything else. I would hate having to stand around in the heat all morning not learning drill and stuff. That's seems sarcastic, but it's not supposed be. It's like a waste of being hot and miserable. Wow, I still don't make sense. Sorry. Anyways, hopefully things will get better for you guys though after band camp is over...?
As for the freshman class, I don't think they're as bad as previous years. So I guess that's kind of a compliment to them. I'm impatient though, so I want them to get the hang of it now. I have to keep telling myself things along the lines of, "It's only the 3rd day, they shouldn't be able to play all 3 songs perfect yet." I guess I expect too much sometimes. I really like teaching stuff as an officer though. I feel [somewhat] important. :)
Other than the fact that I haven't gotten music copies yet, I am 100% satisfied with you and Kacy! Don't let little comments get under your skin. :)
