When someone is having a down day, it is always nice to see something that turns thier day around. Just a couple of minutes ago, I read something that inspired me to update. Of nothing in peticular, just a plain old update.

People who are not selfish and bratty, do not play the "point-the-finger" game, and do not constantly talk highly about themselves or brag to others; that kind of person is awesome. I mean, not many can say they do not fall under any of those catagories. This stereotype is what I strive to be.

I have realized I suck at explaining myself clearly and thoughtfully. The other day in Algebra, I sat there for five minutes trying to explain my question, and Mr. Jupena had no clue what I was trying to ask. Some kid finally got what I was saying and explained for me... And Mr Jupena understood him. I pretty much confused the whole classroom, and I felt really embarassed and stupid, and I have a very high self esteem, so it takes alot for me to feel embarassed/stupid infront of a class. I have a 91.4 in that class. He is dropping the lowest quiz grade though, and our homework is counting like a 150% test. I have only not done one nights worth of homework, so I think that those factors should help my grade. English is retarded. My teacher seems very religious, since she incorporates it a lot in our lessons. I dont think that religion should be brought into schools. It is different if you are in a religious elective, but being asked your religious beliefs (then being asked why you believe that when it is different from Mrs. Reid's beliefs) isnt very fair. AND she seems to favor girls. I hate teachers who do that kind of stuff. Like coach Pridgen last year, he was the WORST teacher I have ever met.

I think there should be some sort of try out to get into marching band. Like, seeing if you can even keep in-step. Like Aaron Amini, Brittany Shepard, and Kiara Thompson are all in my sight during some part of the show, and they really seem like they dont try. It gets on my nerves to have almost all the marching band pushing to do the right thing and become better, while people who just cant or dont want to are holding us back. This would cause all sorts of problems and would never work, but I really wish there was just some way to get rid of the crappy players besides hoping the well quit on thier own. The problem with that is that they make friends who are in band so they stay in band. Unless in the unlikely circumstance that the whole group of friends decide to quit (as shown by our wonderful Alex and Austin last year) they are in band, holding the band back four four years. See, this isnt really complaining (for once!) but more the truth. People who suck usually stay that way.

Actually, what is one of my posts without my complaining. Well, here goes. Ill make it short. k? I really dont like how Amanda controls the clarinet section in concert band. and how she got the solo. She sucks. and she and Doug have topped my list as "Matts most hated boy and girl in band" List. So, they get an award? more like a punch in the face.

The Halloween Party is tomorrow. It will seriously suck if no one dresses up. I am though. And I think I might have to walk out if no one is dressed up. Because it is a halloween party...
