Goth Boys Don't Mature

Listening to 80’s today which brings me make to the RHPS and Metro Goth nights…the boys that I crushed on at those places were definitely not the type of person I could ever imagined staying with. They were just what I considered nice to look at during that time and looked like they would be fun boyfriends.

Paul and Steve are the names that come to mind for these places - thinking back…the only thing these two had in common was appearance. Aside from that, they were different people. As time has gone on, I can clearly see how I have matured and changed, yet when I look at where their lives are today…they are still in the same place - a nice reminder to be thankful that I never tried to pursue my crushes with them.

All the same, many of the boys, when I was 18 - continue to still be boys. They haven’t matured, which leaves me with the impression that Goth/Industrial boys don’t mature.
