Okay, fine. I choose the brilliant surgeon douchebag who can save my life with 100% accuracy.
*grumbles*
If we're talking D-Bo... yeah, his personal life is none of my business and whether or not he cheats on his wife should have no bearing on his work performance and whether or not I can fully appreciate said performances. It shouldn't matter, and it really doesn't.
However... the show's writing sucks so bad now that I can't even appreciate his work performance. So unfortunately I'm not really loving him on any levels right now.
Not again. The Clooney school of doctoring is a clear winner and not represented. I went for Dr D-Bo. His hands are important, anything else is part of doctor patient confidentiality. Bah!
Can I just be annoyed for a moment that some so-called D-Bo fans are either talking about how they wished he would have simply broken up with his wife and gotten together with Emily instead (?!?!?!)... or they're talking about how sad it is for him (being unhappy in his marriage and being forced to come out with the information to the public) while in the same breath they're calling his mistress a slut who should have 'kept her legs shut'??? I'm not a stringent feminist, and I certainly subscribe to the point that it takes two to tango, but to sympathize with HIM and villainize the woman? I don't f***ing think so!
Okay. Rant over. Apologies for taking up your LJ space. *headdesk*
Villainizing the woman is always how it happens. Even the wives a lot of the time blame the "other woman" and think the husband was just seduced and was just being "a man" and falling for it. Women hate women for the most part because we're all in competition for the only man left in the world worth having (whomever that might be). :)
