Okay, so I don't usually do this, but this is an issue near and dear to me and this is getting very little no attention in the mainstream media ( Read more... )

Even though I am strongly pro-life (and I'm not going to comment any further on that because I know it would turn ugly and our friendship is so not worth it!), that's really messed up that they would try to outlaw all forms of birth control and subject women who miscarry to criminal investigation. Miscarrying is hard enough as it is, and to have someone else intrude and accuse you of murder is just...no. No way. And taking away birth control is only going to exacerbate the situation. What, do they want to get rid of condoms, too? Not to mention people like me have to use birth control for something other than actual birth control. Someone's not thinking this through...idiots.

Aw, I think our friendship could take it but yeah, prob not best to get into it haha x) But it's also kind of what I love about us. We have different views on a lot of stuff but we're still the best of friends~ :)

Yeah, man, I konw. They are seriously taking things way too far. Seriously, it's not like people are going around wanting to have miscarriages and/or doing it on purpose. And they want to go and persecute people for that? WAT. And re: birth control, IKR! What the fuck are they thinking? This is fucking crazy.

Yeah, I'm sure it wouldn't ~destroy~ our friendship, but it's definitely one of those hot button issues I could really get red in the face about and take things personally even though I know I shouldn't. And that is not a fun place to be.
