SPN 3x03
First, the love...
- Sam and Dean together in scenes longer than one minute! I've missed the brotherly interaction so MUCH.
- Dean is Sam's weakness. Even though it was a given....♥
- Oh, Jared! He was fantastic. Hah, the I-lost-my-shoe delivery was just awesome. And his giantic body tripping all over place, hee!
- Dean sitting down Sam and saying DON'T MOVE. And Sam's little nose twitch while waiting to scratch his nose until he was sure Dean left the room. His disbelief when the AC started smoking.
- Oh, Dean! "I'm Batman!" Sam can be his bottom...Robin! ;)
- Gordon! I adore his BSC ass. I look forward to his return. TRUE FACT: Gordon = Wiley E. Coyote and Sam = Road Runner. Oh, Gordon, it'll be fun watching you try to kill Sammy.
Overall, the episode was cute. I don't know, it still felt odd. I don't know what's up with this season, but it's all very...okay. There were a lot of good moments (in this ep, fun moments), but nothing so far that makes me react OMG! Must rewatch entire episode. And am I the only one that misses the blue filter? Because I really, really do. I mean, yes, the colors are pretty, but damn, I want the old lighting back.
And judging from my FL, a wholly unpopular opinion---Bela, for me, is a disappointment. Seriously, I don't know what it is about her, but yeah, I really dislike her. I don't know, man but wow, I just think Ruby is way less annoying than Bela. It's crazy because I was expecting it to be the other way around. In interviews alone, Lauren > Katie...on screen, yeah, not so much. I know she's supposed to be a crafty bitch who only cares for herself and her score (I mean that was their mantra over the summer), it's just seems like they're trying to push that fact a little hard. Oooh, she's so slick, she stole from the boys...not once, but twice! Ooh, look she's so hardcore because *gasp* she shot at Sam (and Dean) and didn't care. The heavy handedness just reminds me of Jo and how we were supposed to think she was a badass because she punched Dean in the face. LAME. :/
Also, part of my problem is her character reeks of a guest star (appearing once or twice a season, which would have been ideal for this type of character), but as it is, she's a REGULAR. I'm left wondering about how contrived the 'running into one another' situations are going to be. For the rest of the season, as they cross paths, is she going to steal stuff that the boys want every single time? I just, I don't know. Anyway, I hope my dislike is from the fact that this was *neon lights* introductory episode. I mean, Ruby had that asinine first line and by the next episode, I warmed up to her, or at least the storyline she's in. Whatever.
OT- I'm probably the last person to notice this, but YAY, ABC's HD streaming finally works for Vista. *catches up on Pushing Daisies and Ugly Betty*
