Okay guys, here is the flourless chocolate torte cake I said I was going to make!. The only things I changed from the recipe were that I used real butter and cream instead of substitutes, I threw raspberries on the top instead of black berries, pipped the extra ganache all around the sides (I think I had extra because I didn't put enough in the filling), and I put shaved chocolate on the top; because, again, I had extra.

For anyone aspiring to make this I will tell you now that this cake is a lot bigger than it looks in the photos on the site. It is actually a massive cake, so if you make it be sure you have a lot of people to feed it to.

It is also pretty expensive to make. Plan on spending around $50 for all the ingredients, though if you get margarine instead of real butter and if you can find a really good sale on chocolate, you might be able to push it down to 40USD, but it just depends.

Calorie wise, for those who care, the whole cake runs about 13,000, so a 100 gram slice (that's just a little over 3 oz, and it is actually half a slice) will cost you about 400 calories. But honestly, it is so rich and heavy that you probably won't want too much more than that.

I will tell you that I still had extra ganache and chocolate shavings left over after making this so I rolled the ganache with some almonds into balls and then rolled those in the shaved chocolate and they made some really tasty chocolates.
