[A pause, then he resumes with almost no accent.]

Sometimes this place isn't so bad. [He laughs, then coughs.] Fuck. No, I'm fine, guy.

[Clicks off.]

[Added later:]
[There's a short pause, then a sigh.] I spoke too soon.
