To spin the conspiracy theory even further, let's imagine that Widmore and Oceanic are both run by DHARMA, so the Widmore test was on the Oceanic flight, which was doomed by DHARMA to crash on their mystery island. Insane, yes? But this is television.

You know, last night I was thinking Sun had bought the pregnancy test before they left and that she lied to Jin about never being with another man. (Hey, Ann Landers recommends denying infidelity if it was an isolated incident.) That's how she knew Sawyer had one in his stash. So she slept with Arranged Marriage English Lesson Guy and then found out the doctor had lied about her being unable to conceive.

But now that I look at it, for my theory to work, the box would have to have Korean writing on it. Unless she bought it at the Australian airport...

Exactly! I've never looked for one there, so I can't really say. They practically have mini-malls in airports these days.
