We had a good, though comical, TDay celebration.
Our turkey wasn't ready on time. It was at least two hours late. But Mr F felt the need to start serving the rest of the feast ahead of time, so we literally had multiple courses instead of one big feast all at once. The acorn squash came first, which worked well. But serving the broccoli as one course, then the mashed potatoes as another, was just odd. I gave up and passed around the cranberry dish as another course. We served the turkey just before the dessert!
We know almost everyone was fine with it. I have a good sense one person was might have been aghast, but can't say with certainty. Ah, to heck with conventional expectations!
At least the conversation was lively amongst good company. ;-)
