The things we miss and rediscover
Here is part of an email I sent to someone as passionate about singing as I am:
"Tonight for the first time in two months, I attended Opera Broadway Open Mic night here in ABQ. I didn't realize how much I've missed it. It was incredibly invigorating and inspiring. A new Opera singer, for me, made me cry with his beautiful interpretation of a tenor piece from Barber of Seville. I've heard the piece live before, but never so well executed. Now I must find out what it is! It's one I should know. Plus, tonight was a fun reunuion with the rest of the gang, mostly Opera singers. Such talent in this group.
Hence I'm feeling giddy and light-hearted tonight and wanted to share that with you."
