So I had this great conversation with my professor today. We talked about some of my own things that I just really needed to get off my chest, my other classes, elements of ethnography that creep us out, where we're from- all sorts of stuff. Halfway through, I realized that I was in Christina's office, talking alone with a brilliant/articulate/thought-provking/awesome professor, and I wasn't intimidated at all, even though she does have power over me. That feeling basically kicked ass.
In other news, today I picked green beans and edamame, de-husked corn, took soil samples, and picked flowers, all in one class. I've also been productive since 8:45AM. I feeeeeeeeel good!
