Unconventional Courtship

May 25, 2018 20:55

I've been feeling very down this evening, and then I remembered what I do on these occasions when I can't do anything useful. Yes, I played with the Unconventionalcourtship generator, obviously.

196) The Highlander's Stolen Touch by Terri Brisbin
Her Forbidden Highlander...

(I know Belle has a tendency to see the best in everyone, but there are limits, surely...)

287) Undercover Hunter by Rachel Lee
Detective Arnold Rimmer never had any luck with female partners. So when he's assigned to work with feisty, raven-haired Anya Jenkins, he isn't pleased at all. Posing as a married couple, the investigators must team up to catch a killer. That is, if they don't kill each other first.
Putting their mission first proves tricky as mutual disdain evolves into mutual desire. But distraction is not an option. The killer who seemingly vanished five years prior has returned to Conard County, Wyoming, to finish what she started. And she just set her sights on two new victims.

(I'm not sure how that would go, but it would be v entertaining)

218) Unworldly Secretary, Untamed Greek by Kim Lawrence
Made over…to make love!
Though she’s in love with the Twelfth Doctor, her gorgeous Greek boss, Rose Tyler knows he views her as just another piece of office furniture. But Twelve’s sister, the darkly arrogant, wealthy Servalan, has a plan. 0_o (And in the category of weirdly plausible...)

388) Highwayman Husband - Helen Dickson

Her only lead is a bar called Once Bitten - a haven for the dark and vampire-obsessed. And as they delve further into the seedy underworld of the Big Easy, Drusilla and Rory turn to each other, discovering a sizzling hunger that won't be satisfied. But will one taste be enough?

(That one is definitely in the more sinister than romantic category...)

541) Her Client from Hell by Louisa George
Her customer satisfaction guarantee…!
Vicki Pallister has a new mantra in her life - failure is not an option! Her good-for-nothing ex might have run off with all her money, but she’s determined to make her new catering business a success. So no distractions. Nothing. Nada. Zero. 418) Seduce and Rescue - Jillian Burns
Lieutenant Colonel the Fifth Doctor is having his very first massage with a rather eccentric, but smokin’-hot redhead, Regina Mills.
But her touch isn’t so much calming as it is very distracting. When he accidentally sets Regina’s business and home ablaze, Five can’t tell if the smouldering is from the fire...or their attraction to each other!
But now Five’s condo is invaded by the free-spirited Regina, who’s convinced that he’s the one who really needs to be rescued.
And Regina’s methods? Well, they’re not so traditional. Still, Five can’t remember having his chakras aligned so… er, intensely. But will this be rescue - or retreat?

(I can't help but feel this one was meant to be Five/Tegan. The Doctor is totally an arsonist, though.)

508) The Runaway Heiress by Anne O'Brien
Mr Killian Jones effects a daring night-time escape - in the Earl of Aldeborough's carriage! With scandal imminent, marriage seems the only course of action.
