It's been a while (two a half three years), and I'm feeling fed up with never quite getting back to what passes for normal with me these days, so let's do this thing - let's play isurrendered again:

Step #1 - Do I go to HBO for funding, so there's big, CGI dragons, or do I go to the BBC, so they're either pipe-cleaners and cotton wool, or semi-animated on a BBC Micro? :D

The BBC can do CGI these days! But if you don't crack the American market with S1 and make money for them, they'll cancel you straight out of the bat. Mind you, so would HBO or any other channel...

HBO is pretty good about that actually, as it's a subscription channel, so they've got the money whether you watch or not! Makes them more willing to let things "find an audience". Like the Beeb used to do, before the government made them get competitive.

Mind you, I reckon I could sink a series with the best of them. :D
