Aw, poor Miss Jones! Sherlock should've scared her off by playing his violin at her, that's got to be worse than Mr Adamant's classical music and Simms' comedy records;p

True! Although she might have got revenge by singing at him or bringing a portable radio along or something.

Thanks for the fun prompts! And there really, really does. I poked AO3 to see if I could find anything, but the only things that came up were multi-era fics and ficlet collections.

How does Steel react to meeting a doppelganger of themself? (Time loop, alternate universe, magic mirror, or whatever plot device you like).

Ha! The plot device is probably all of the above, in some confusing and ambiguous combination. :)

(And Twelve and Ace, yes. Let there be fic...)

I have been thinking how much I'd love to see 12 and Ace together ever since Courtney Woods showed up and announced herself to be a disruptive influence, making her instantly remind me of Ace.

If the TARDIS is on fire, the Doctor's saving the TARDIS or going up in flames with her, sorry. If it's Gallifrey that's on fire (again), then the TARDIS.

LOL! Oh, god, what a character I picked for that one. Speaking of which...

Well, thanks very much astrogirl2! That was all I needed right now. Clearly, I am in the middle of some crime scene while simultaneously facing a major magical incident.

Bwhahaha! I am so sorry. So, so sorry. But please do be sure to document the whole experience on your LJ so we can be amused commiserate. :)

And when the ( ... )

The unerring ability of people to pick blindfold the exact best/worst/most ridiculous characters is one of the main reasons this always remains so entertaining!

You sent me Sherlock Holmes and Regina to stay! I mean, anyone on the list would have been trouble and some of them would have been much more likely to kill me, but I don't think any other two would have been quite so likely to notice every single fault in my very faulty house...

It would probably be a journal account of how I locked myself in my bedroom for a week, I should think.

It really is! I'm still laughing at poor Death having play cliff/shag/marry on mine. :)

And, believe me, I can empathize with the household faultiness and distress caused by people noticing and judging... I don't want those two in my home, either! (Although I guess they are at least better than Missy.)

Of course, I would have to pick the one character for whom meeting their doppelganger would be another day at the office :-)

The rest was great fun, too, thought I think your reaction to astrogirl2 sending characters round to your house is my favourite :-)

Thanks! And that is the magic of the meme, really. There seems to be some sort of magnetism of questions to the least/most appropriate character. :-)

Its odd how these things work out sometimes!

I did not intentionally set up a girl band. Jenkins meeting the Doctor makes perfect sense when you think that The Library connects to all libraries - which would of course include the one in the Doctor's TARDIS.

That's a very good point (about the TARDIS library). I should think they both find it a nuisance when it happens, too. :-)
