Home?

I shouldn't have waited all this time to find LiveJournal and set up an account.  I've got probably about 50-60 fics between Teaspoon and TTR to go back over...

So, because I've been through quite a lot of them already, I thought I might try and think about a 'top 5'.  (Doing my top 20 of other people's will definitely be fun for another day).  Let's start somewhere...

So:

Third Doctor, Jo Grant, Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart, Sergeant Benton, Captain Yates, The Master, plus Ten and Donna.  (All ages)

The inevitable New Who meets Old UNIT, after The Poison Sky got me thinking.  Donna asks a question and the Tenth Doctor doubles back on his own timeline to answer it.  He thinks his former self is away for the weekend, but maybe his memory's not what it was?  Featuring a full UNIT family complement (Three, Brig, Jo, Mike, Benton and the Master).  (All Ages)  It wouldn't go away till I wrote it.

“Jo,” said the other Doctor, striding in. She hugged him in greeting, glad to see him safe, whatever the new Doctor might say. “Are you all right? Where’s this Smith-Wellington fellow?”

Jo bit her lip unsteadily. “Oh, um, I think - I don’t know!”

The Brigadier followed the Doctor into the room, Sergeant Benton coming after with a hand on Donna’s arm as he marched her in.

“I had a good reason!” she protested loudly. “Let go of me. I’m not going to run off anywhere and I’m not a thief.”

Jo stared. “Um, Brigadier -.”

“Found her rifling through my desk,” Lethbridge-Stewart explained briefly. “Miss Grant, did you see where the fellow went?”

She sighed and leant over the workbench. “Doctor, I really think you’re going to have to explain.”

“Me?” said her Doctor in surprise. “Jo, whatever do you mean?”

His future self emerged with his hands up and coughed. “No, she means me.”
