Who played Borusa in 'The Five Doctors'? (I'm too lazy to look on IMDB!)
Oh, but when Andred gets injured and Leela says to him, "We'll do this my way." I'm very, very amused, because there's no doubt that's how it'll be from now on...
She's *definitely* going to be wearing the trousers in that relationship!!
Of course metaphorical trousers (though I thought Leela looked way hotter in trousers and roll neck sweater in 'Horror of Fang Rock' than she ever did in her 'savage' outfits!)
Oh, Borusa - I think it was Leonard Sachs, but I might well be thinking of Arc of Infinity. (I don't mean I hate the others; I just mean that this is the definitive Borusa for me. He doesn't seem to have much luck with regeneration!)
It's an Edwardian summer frock with a straw hat. She gets out of it pretty fast, in front of Vince. But I think I like it best out of her limited choice of outfits! The woolly jumper and leggings are very practical, too.
Okay, I'm unsure whereabout we mentioned this, but I have now posted the Image 'essay' (it's not really one, just nearly long enough for it...) here. I only mention it because I actually poste dit about 2 days ago, then made it private because I wanted to alter it, so it may otherwise slip under people's radar. (That is the plan, save for you!)
Probably my posting it and the hiding it!! I'm sorry.
No worries!
Eek. How did you end up doing that?
Oh my usual trick of offering to beta for someone whose story I'd read that was full of typos, etc. Trouble is, the author in question has, if anything, got worse, not better, as a writer. They have a poor grasp of narrative structure, little grasp of grammar, and frequently switch tenses while writing. Beta-reading for them is like pulling teeth without an anaesthetic!
Yeah. I got the two chapters I've just beta-read shortly before my laptop had the hissy fit that resulted in it going in for repairs, so I was justifiably able to avoid beta-reading them for a week, then I put them off for another week until I decided it was time to bite the bullet.
It's a shame because the author has quite interesting ideas sometimes, but they can't write for toffee. (And their idea of 'romance' makes me shudder!)

Hmm. I don't remember a dress...

Actually, it was Philip Latham - I just checked.

I didn't assume you did mean that you hated the others...

Obviously, I am thinking of Arc, then!
