I don't have time to read this now. I'll come back to it. I just wanted to say that I love that you've written it! Don't apologise. You've created a great theoretical show, and I quite understand the temptation. Believe me, I've come close several times to writing my show for real. Will you be iconning as well?!

Thanks! I confess that I wrote stuff for the shows I invented last time as well, although not yet for somebody else's show, but only because there's not enough time (and brain) in the world. :-)

Icons... not really! I'd do a fanmix, if I had more than 3 songs, but icons are out until I can fix this thing with Photobucket and somebody hotlinking. (I keep deleting stuff, but I still haven't got the culprit icon yet, worse luck. *sigh*)

ETA: You should totally give in and write pirates! Just a drabble! (Look at the comm: most of us wind up committing fic...)

This is really good. I'm quite taken with Charles. From this, and your original postings, he's definitely the character that I find most interesting, and most compelling as well, I think. I'm interested in his backstory, and there are interesting flashes of it here. Nice work.

Thank you! :-) I think Charles is the one who's most retained the ability to step back from the situation and see the deeper problems, which makes him an easy pov character to do.

I really do want to play with the whole thing some more, though - I think, with the shows I've done before (and probably the other two this time), they're things I can file away to do something seriously with maybe one day who knows, but... I really can't do anything like that with something that I did make that bit too much like a 1970s TV show! I might try doing it for runaway_tales or something while things are still the way they are with rl. Or, of course, just get distracted by someth- Oh, look, a butterfly!! ;-D

Oh, cool. I hadn't heard of runaway_tales, but yes, that looks like a good way of coming up with more Revolution stuff. With no time limits, you could play with it as much or as little as you like.

Also also - thank you again for the fanmix! It is amazing! And I'm not sure what I said yesterday morning because I was quite tired/low, which I can tell from various things, but also from the fact that when I went to put the fanmix on my mp3 player last night, I realised I hadn't registered even how many songs there were (there were suddenly twice as many nearly! Like magic!). Anyway, I have flipped through them all briefly to get a feel of the fanmix, and it was very exciting, both in having someone have made such a thing for me, and the way the songs fitted (though I have only skipped through as yet, because my illness will not let me listen to 20 songs one after another without being much more ill) and, well, just very exciting generally, and such a nice thing to do ( ... )

You mostly said thank you yesterday morning. I meant to reply, but I'll do it here instead. And you're quite welcome! I like having a go at things like that. Last time I did a fanmix for somebody, Megaupload was still around, so it's been a while. It sucks that you have to take it easy with fandom fun though. That really isn't fair.

Well, thanks again! It is awesome and you're very kind. :-)

*nods a lot* Oh yes. I have difficulty reading, writing, watching TV, and listening to music, but it improves by inches at least. On top of having difficulty doing things physically, being with people, blah de blah... (The gov't though at intervals tell me I am totally fine and should be out earning money, so that is all right obviously. I don't know why I hang around here like this.)

*cough* Yes, well. I am also immensely lucky in many other ways, so, you know, musn't grumble. Also, I have an awesome fanmix. :-D

That's not grumbling. You could win awards for your lack of grumble. I don't imagine I'd be nearly so pleasant in the same circumstances.

They seem to be telling that to half my f-list lately. It must be nice to have the power to heal people by decree...

Though, to be honest, grumbling for three years solid would just be hard work. At least things are much better now and I have nice things in my life, (and not solely just when I have something to watch with David Collings in, because that is not a natural state of affairs, fun as his novel methods of death may be). :-)
