30 Days of Awesome Female TV Characters Meme: Blake's 7

I've kept seeing this around, and while I never want to do a consecutive 30 Days Meme again, ever, I like the idea of this one. I have, however, left out Doctor Who, because that would have taken up all 30 days, and infinitejoys is doing very nice work on that front as it is.

So, starting with Blake's 7 in a sort of reverse chronological order, because

Interesting concept - does it have to be 30 TV characters though? I'm not sure I know 30, even with all the awesome DW women there are!

Well, I think that one can alter memes as one chooses. Why not? :-D If I fail to think of 30, I'll stop there. And you could always do 30 awesome female book characters - infinitejoys changed it to DW females. And I think it was originally meant of be TV sf, anyway so :-p to the rules!

But given there have been about 30 companions in DW now, and most of them are female, it gives a pretty good chance of getting it up to 30 once you throw in a few other awesome females to round it off! Oh, actually, if you throw in the BF companions (and you'd have to, wouldn't you?) there must be more than 30... Which was why I excluded it in the interests of not just pointing at nfinitejoys's lj with a "what she said".

Yeah, but I'd quite like to *not* be totally predictable in doing just 30 Awesome Who Women! Maybe I'll make a list of my fave Who women, then add other TV females, and see what number I reach that way - and go from there!

That was kind of what I thought, so I excluded them altogether, or I'd have trouble. :-)

Sounds like a plan! And I'd definitely be interested to see what you come up with. I seem to remember first finding you on LJ in your praise of Liz!

LOL Really? That's kind of funny, considering what a rabid Martha Jones fan I am! :D

Yes, I think you wrote a lovely meta post about how awesome Liz was that I found linked somewhere, and I recognised you from Teaspoon, and that was how I friended you. I think. I often get confused, mind, as you know!

Not, of course, that Martha isn't pretty awesome, too. She saved the world and everything. :-)

Oh okay... I'll believe you! :D

Martha totally is awesome, but she's not the only awesome Woman of Who, thankfully. (My list of Who companions is 12 - that's TV and audio companions). I've added another 6 TV women in addition - so only 12 more awesome women to add!)

I was tempted to add more - but I've decided to limit myself to a round dozen, and add 18 other awesome female characters from favourite shows (or possibly books).
