Carry On - Behind the Scenes Icons

Aug 30, 2010 20:37

I thought, since I had little brain this weekend, I'd amuse myself with making some more icons. I managed the following, but for some reason my computer decided to object in every way possible. However, icons from the DVD galleries for Carry on Follow That Camel, Doctor and Khyber can be found here.

Kenneth Williams, Jim Dale, Bernard Bresslaw, Barbara Windsor, Sid James, Hattie Jacques, Peter Butterworth, Angela Douglas, Roy Castle, Frankie Howerd, Anita Harris, Charles Hawtry, Terry Scott, Peter Gilmore & a camel. Plus Valerie Leon, Valerie van Ost and Alexandra Dane. Also, unexpected Dick Van Dyke, Penelope Keith and Tommy Cooper.

Table created with accio.nu's icon table(less) generator

For those few (if any) who are wondering: Tommy Cooper was visiting the set of Khyber, having originally been cast as the Fakir; Dick Van Dyke was filming Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the same time and paused to meet Sid James and Joan Sims. Penelope Keith was in a cut alternate 'lovely pair' scene with an actual pear (presumably only shot in case a censor objected to Peter Gilmore's line... which tells you all you need to know about the quality of casting Gerald Thomas and/or Peter Rogers always seemed to have a knack for, I think).

Also an alternate ending for Khyber, and cut scenes from Follow That Camel (giving Lawrence of Arabia directions, and finding a camel train crossing.)

Want, take, credit. Comments are ♥. No hotlinking.
