She was up on the roof of the flats, pacing slowly at first and then a little quicker, she couldn't make all this work in her head. Either way she would end up losing one of them, or possibly both ( Read more... )

The moment she heard his voice she stopped pacing and dropped to the floor, tears falling down her cheeks, "Do...do you think you could have Billy for a while?"

Snake bolted up where he had been coming to full awareness.

Snake stood pulling on his coat. He was at work and could be to her place in a few minutes if he had to.

"I-i just...I need...I need some time to...just time." She looked over at the roof of the next building, his building knowing she'd have to be really cold to him, "Please." The last part was a littlw whiney, like she was about to start crying.

Hope was busy with her head stuck in a book, slowly she peered up, "Yeah?"

I need to run over to Mac's. You be alright staying her for a little while by yourself?

"Ok," She clipped off the phone.

"Can I come? Can I see Billy?" She put her book down, grabbing her coat before he could say no, "Please."

Snake smiled. Billy's coming to see us for a little while. I'll be bringing him back with me.

Snake was a little hesitant about taking Hope with him. He had no idea what was going on.

Snake grabbed his keys and headed for the hummer. He wouldn't normally take it but he was worried about what he might be getting in to.

Snake waited for Hope to get in and put on her seatbelt before he backed out of the alley and headed for Mac's. His mind was reeling with the possibilities of what could be wrong. It took sometime but he eventually pulled up out front. Slowly he got out glanced up at the roof and then went up to knock on the door.

Mac answered the door and looked at Snake, her eyes red from crying. "Hey," she spotted Hope, "Hey, why don't you go find Billy, he's here somewhere."

She watched as Hope ran off, "Snake...I..." In two steps she burried her face in Snake's chest and began to cry.

Snake put his arm around Mac and worked his way inside closing the door behind them.

She hid her face deep in his chest, crying softly for a while until she pulled back, "Not in here, Billy, he could...upstair, my room."
