busy weekend!
thursday:
it was my birthday so i got together with laura, cassi, lindsay and kelsey (car couldn't make it because she was working), and we all went out for dinner at applebees which was too much fun. we were there for a couple of hours just talking about old memories and what not, and being the loudest people there from laughing our heads off. we had been there for quite a while and i figured none of them thought to tell anyone it was my birthday so i could skip the embarrassing "have the waiters sing to you" situation (which i totally hate lol) and then i hear some clapping coming from the kitchen and i start clapping too totally oblivious it's for me and everyone just starts laughing, and then i see a big line of waiters start coming towards me and i instantly go red and blush like mad while everyone else is killing themselves laughing at me lol. too funny. then after we went back to my place for cupcakes. we had some pretty rad dance parties going on in the car, we're so cordinated! hah and then met up with my friend jeff who took us to NV on cordyn and bought us all a million drinks. all in all i had a blast, it was a super good night.
friday:
bummed around most of the day. went for dinner at tony roma's with the family for my birthday. the later at night i went out with some friends from work, chantal and arlynn and their bf's and then about 15 of chantal's bf's friends and we went and saw Borat. it was funny at some parts, but i can definitely see why some people find it offensive lol. after the movie chantal, matt (her bf) and 3 of her bf's friends (jeff, jordan and someone) and myself went to moxies for food and drinks, and it was pretty fun.
saturday:
woke up feeling super sick, but i had to go into work, so i did. and it was the most busy i've ever seen it. it was actually insane. after work i got together with lindsay and we went to moxies in the mts centre and then just drove around st.b for a bit and went to that old cathedral with the big circle in it, which was super creepy and we were laughing like mad the whole time caz we were really creeped out walking through the graveyard. after that we just drove through river point and looked at the houses.
sunday:
house cleaned, and went to osborne with matt and i bought a touque and mitten set.
they look like evil goats. i love them.
now i'm just sitting at home working on hw and other unimportant things.
