*A kid who most of you probably don't know is being escorted through the GDF base by a couple of NERV officers. Despite trying to put up a front, he is obviously shaken and clearly nervous. He is taken to an empty room in the GDF tower after a short tour where he is left to his own devices, but not without being given strict orders about where and where he is not allowed to go. Rather than go to his room, he decides to wander the base a bit. After all, the last thing he wants to be is stuck in his room all day.*
