(no subject)
So, might have the chance to be published in an Alberta magazine (don't want to jinx myself, so the name is withheld until the final notice)! So damn excited! it's for a series of articles about common annoyances, from yeast infection comercials to drunk drivers, and everyting in between. So damn sexcited, this gives me a reason to write again! I've been in such a funk since I left Upfront, I haven't written much.
Cleaned my rom a bit. Found news clippings from the 2000 Stanley Cup playoffs. Good times. Must send those to certain family members soon, just for some good old "rememberances."
And I'm in love with mum and dad's car. I know I put a lot of work into my car (and have ruined many a good manicure working on it with many a hot machanic), but mum and dad's car is just so much better. Even with the "modifications" to my car, their's gets better gas milage. And, for some reason, I have the comulsion to blast "H to the Izzo" (of whatever it's called) by Jay-Z whenever I drive it.
Well, yet again, drank much more than I should have, but at least this time with people who deserve to see me drunk. Need sleep and an IV of pure water to clense my system for free beer tomorrow. Grandma has her cataract surgery on Wednesday, so we're showing her a good time tomorrow ( I wanted to take her to Danny's and Leopard's, butmum said strip clubs aren't the best idea right now. Grandma was all for it though. since she had never been to either).
And Tara is Hubert-less this weekend! They went out last night (he's on a skiing trip this weekend), so I don't have to hear the "why can't youfind a nice boy like that" questions tomorrow! Yippie for me!
