an odd sort of list
I love how strongly our opinion of some music is affected by our associations with it.
I like the Dropkick Murphys partially bc they remind me of last summer.
and Refused, The (International) Noise Conspiracy, and Against Me! all partly bc they remind me of my brother.
[when he would play cs on the other computer sometimes I used to purposely pick songs i knew he liked cuz i liked it when he'd sing to them, lol.]
eve 6 [etc, etc, ETC] is always going to make me think of adam.
and, sometimes, when I play gregory and the hawk i remember marni singing boats and birds while waiting for harrison at his locker last year.
the cranberries and suzanne vega always remind me of Rivkah... god I've known her since 1st grade.
I love VAST to death and I always have to give a little mental credit to Mark's lj for them. [uh, btw, my music is still divided into 2 folders from all that music that never went into ur mp3 lol)
when I play Fort Minor I wonder how I ended up at Julien Levesque's [[sp? goodness.]] myspace in the first place..
and playing Minus the Bear is very much credited to dlen.
once in a while i play hip hop and wonder if it's lame that i downloaded it jus bc i wanted to learn how to dance, and that the only titles i knew of were what i saw on james's ipod
then stone temple pilots, alice in chains, and children of bodom definitely are credited to jordan [w/lots of indiv. songs -.-].
[and i find it kinda ironic that his ex gf quotes some of the exact same songs i listen to]
the venga boys [6 flags song] actually reminds me of doing limbo with 3 yr olds at camp kick-a-poo
then the cloud room and anything from Mental Hug reminds me how much i <3 erica... along with bush sometimes [wait noooo that came out wrong -.-' lol]
so erica had a dream that I was on a roller coaster... yay symbolism?
