I’m going to cry- Michelle Kwan pulled out of this year’s Winter Olympics due to an injury, which means this will be her last participation in the Olympic Games. She never succeeded to win a gold metal, but she’s still far more inspirational and a charismatic figure skater than any of her successors.
Were the political comments made at Coretta Scott King’s funeral appropriate? It was a very special memorial service, but certain comments seemed to take something away from it. Disregarding anyone’s political party, I imagine the celebration of a great civil right activist should’ve been left at uniting people and not disconnecting others.
I’m already hearing jokes about Cheney accidentally shooting his fellow hunter while quail hunting in Texas. I mean, my god, it was an accident. A terrible one though, but a unintentional mistake nonetheless. I’m more disgusted by the fact that he was actually wasting his time hunting and promoting the use of guns beside military or law enforcement defense.
Is there anyone else who could careless about the relationship between Brad Piit and Angelina Jolie? I have a friend who despises Jolie so much and is pro-Aniston. Personally, I don’t see anything that great about either one of those actresses. If Jolie and Pitt had an affair behind Aniston’s back then that is shameful. Granted, Jolie is a far better actress than Aniston, at least up through Girl Interrupted (all her movies after that has sucked); however, Aniston isn’t that exciting of a film actress. She isn’t very daring. Maybe if she experimented more with dysfunctional roles, like she did in The Good Girl, then she would be getting somewhere. Or maybe I liked that movie because Jake Gyllenhaal made it worth seeing. I just hope Sarah Jessica Parker isn’t taking that “chic flick” path.
Um, ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
