How to climb a mountain

What SATC fan can forget this scene? It still makes me blush up to this day when I see it.

It's been a week or so since I've last wrote so here's a short run down update: I looked at apartments with the girls and we found a place that really caught our interest, however over the next few days I came to realize that I can't afford rent. Or I possibly could but I don't think it's necessary to live paycheck to paycheck. It really bummed me out when I excepted this. I first told Amanda who confessed she had been feeling the same way and since she got a nice paying job on Patrick Air-Force Base in Melbourne it could be crazy to give that up. We then broke the news to Michelle who understood. I've been contemplating back and forward the ways that I could make living with my grandmother and cousin better. Both my home in Orlando and home with my parents in Melbourne are win/loose situations: 1.) have more space and my own bathroom but its Melbourne... an hour away from Orlando but not that bad of a drive. Or 2.) have more of a congested living space but be directly in Orlando. A friend told me that she thinks when it comes down to it, space is important. Although my sister may well be moving back early next year (my poor parents) so it's -eh-. After I graduate and hopefully get a "real job" it'll be reasonable for me to get my own place.

On an even more serious note, I received a desperate message from a 17 year old YouTube user from the UAE:

Hi Tyler,

I read your comment about one of the clips on youtube, and I believe that you're gay(hope I'm not wrong !) . I just want you to know that I picked/read your profile radomly among all the other guys who claimed to be gay. Anyway, I'm gay too.But since I live in the UAE and since I don't want my family and friends to find out about me I never date guys . It's just good to meet someone like you over here. I don't want to freak you out ok? As I mentioned before, it kind of feels good to talk to someone who has something incommon with me which is "homosexuality". Hope you don't mind if I empty my chest to you a little bit. Does your family know about your sexual orientation? How do you feel about it ? Is it hard for you to be gay? Because it really is for me. It really hurts that you want to be with someone who you can't. I have to admit that I've fallen in love with one of my friends who is straight and I can't tell him how I feel because it'll ruin our friendship. Do you know how hard that is? Do you know if there is anyway for me to become straight? My case is different than yours. You live in the US. where usually people can practise almost anything. But where I live, being gay and dating guys is not acceptable. I'm very sorry for the long message. Hope I didn't freak you out buddy......PLEASE REPLY TO ME IT MEANS A LOT. AND PLEASE REPLY BACK HERE AND "DO NOT " COMMENT ON MY PAGE BECAUSE I DON'T WANT MY FRIEND TO FIND OUT ABOUT ME OK?

Thank you Tyler

Out of all my problems and issues that I'm trying to overcome, things like this really make you realize how good you got it. I'm really touched that this boy is reaching out to me and I hope I can help him out. But how do you
give words of advice to someone who almost has no way out?

sex and the city, middle east, life, guys
