Lost Land FAQ
WHAT IS LOST_LAND?
lost_land is a challenge community that was inspired by those that come before it. With LOST off the air, it’s a way to keep the love alive. There are three teams: Team Survivors, Team Others, and Team Dharma Days. After you’re placed on a team you’ll compete in different LOST themed challenges for points. The challenges can range from graphic challenges to pure and simple luck.
WHAT DO I DO AFTER I JOIN?
Once you’ve submitted your application, you will be placed on a team. A mod will send you an invite to your community, and once you accept, browse around. If your team leader has made an introduction meme, feel free to introduce yourself. Your community is where you will find up-to-date lists of open challenges, points by player, moral support, and hopefully make some new friends along the way.
PLEASE NOTE:
The mods will make every attempt to place you at your first choice, however if there is a need for you to be placed elsewhere that is a possibility. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THE APPLICATION PAGE TO SEE WHAT TEAMS ARE ACCEPTING NEW MEMBERS. There’s always the option of waiting until someone drops so that you can take their spot, but speedy turnaround time is not guaranteed.
WHAT ARE THE OFFICIAL RULES?
First and foremost, don’t join if you don’t plan on participating. You don't have to participate in every single challenge, but in order for your team to win, every point matters. You must participate in at least one challenge every two weeks. Of course there are extenuating circumstances and we do have a hiatus option, so talk with your team leader to see what your best options are.
The only other rule is please; please don’t bring the drama. We’re all here to have fun and remember LOST. I have no doubts that we can all get along to do just that!

Every challenge post will have a questions thread. Please check the questions that have been asked before submitting yours.
WHO ARE THE MODS AND HOW DO I CONTACT THEM?
Your mods are propernice and dizzyknee. You may contact us by using the page a mod function. Most questions, however, can be answered by your teammates or your team leaders.
WHAT IF I’M NOT GOOD AT (INSERT CHALLENGE TYPE HERE)?
That’s okay! This is all about points, not the quality of what you turn in. True, there will be some challenges where we vote, but you’ll have more time for those. The key is that you participate and possibly (probably) learn how to do new and fun things.
