I hate the morning announcements D:
They played "And She Was" by Talking Heads, and now I can't get the freaking thing out of my head. I love the lyrics, and the music has grown on me from (possibly) hours of listening to it into the car (my dad always put in music that he listened to in high school).
The world was moving
And she was right there with it
And she was
The world was moving
She was floating above it
And she was
Ok, I'll stop just writing lyrics.
So, anyways, I finally got to the library yesterday so that I can get some preliminary research on my SIP (Senior Independent Project) to see what I could to for my possible topics that I've chosen - Year Round School or French Wine Region Controversies.
And while I was browsing around in the programming section of the library to see what they had, I found the Darwin Awards. I've read some of the insane stories, heard a lot about it, but never actually read it.
I haven't laughed this hard in a while. These people are stupider than me!
I have to finish my French homework, my Chem homework, and my World homework. I am so screwed, but I guess I could try staying up a little later to finish all of it. But I'll be in bed doing it, which makes it that much harder to stay awake :/
And in other news, Great Gatsby is great. I love it, and I just emphasize with Nick Carraway. Screwed-up introvert in a screwed-up world? High-five!
