and i should explain, too, why so many of our "cruise" photos are full of snow and angry faces. our original flight to miami was cancelled because of a fluke winter storm and suddenly we went from cruise countdown to cruise crestfallen. after a lot of hard work by many parties (mom, tom, me, a very nice woman at american airlines), podge found us a last minute flight to st. thomas. so we ended up meeting up with our cruise 3 days late. to pass the time, we made up our own cruise, the Cruise of the Island of Weak Drinks and Disgrunted Locals (also known as Manhattan). we called our cruise line 20 Star after a very confusing phone operator we had during out late night scramble to book a flight, and our ship, for about a million reasons, is called "No Me Gusta Your Face." this explains many things about the photos to come. also, in case you decide to read the fabulous photo titles, the first half of these pretty much lists all the perks our fabulous alterna-cruise has to offer. and all it so very much does not.
and then, of course, there's the actual caribbean. show-off.
