i have decided it's about time to take life into my own hands. grab the beast by the balls as they say. i want to start a magazine. or some kind of collaborative effort that will compile writing, photography, art and other odds and ends that will appeal to this "edgy youth" culture i love so much. you know the type. they hang at starbucks and stay away from frappuccinos, they go to barnes and noble or books&books and don't make a beeline for the "pink covers/candace bushnell" section. the kids that write on their spare time and wish they could find someone to go to the art festival with. kids who make their own movies and listened to postal service before "such great heights" became 'the cutest love song'. kids who wore scarves and flats before the OC. basically, i'm looking at the private school underground circuit. because, lets face it, its what i know best.
