That was weird. Just kinda. Comin' out of there and seein' lots of things.
I wonder if that means I'm a bug or a caterpillar or a slug or somethin', because that sure was mysterious the way I just metamorphosized inta bein'.... don't really know if that's usual or not, because I don't think my brain's filled with much of anythin' right now, but I'm hopin' it will be once I figure out if maybe I can grow some wings and become a butterfly now. And if I don't...well, guess that'd me that I am what I am...whatever I am.
Maybe an amoeba in disguise. Even though my sister said we weren't bugs. I guess she was hopin' we were somethin' more civilized. But they can be civilized. Though maybe not. I haven't ain't never had a sister before. So maybe I don't know nothin'.
Except my name's Trip. I know that. 'cause I was high n' fell down. A long way, I guess until the tree caught me.
