And I was once there, hanging from that very ledge where you are standing.

::Thursday::
Work was busy, usual list of dedicated server querys for me when i got in, also got asked to help shared out with the fallout from another server failure which kept me busy. Only had a half day at work so i finished at 1:30.
was meant to goto the bank but i got side tracked with other work so im going to have to call them sometime this week.
spent most of the afternoon through to early evening working on clips for friday night which was pretty time consuming but the results looked good, also downloaded a few more freebies from the community to use though i need to learn to be more creative with my own stuff but again its finding time to learn new programs, systems and techniques.
disappeared off to speakeasy for 8:30 to see the rocksoc members and the general others that were out for Damage.
Damage was good, there was a nice turn out and the loughbrough rocksoc even made an appearance so it was nice to have a chat with them and the other regulars there. I headed off early as i was about ready to fall asleep on my feet, only stopping to get some food on the way home as i was hungry even though i hadnt been drinking... strange.
::Friday::
Managed to sleep through my alarm so i was late to work (which is always good when your boss makes it in on time and he was dj'ing the night before) Spent the morning taking shared calls again so that kept me pretty busy. The afternoon was spent back on 123 work and catching up on emails. after work we all went round to the bar along the road from work as the centre manage had offered everyone a couple of free drinks as we had all worked hard the past week so after a couple of pints and a nice social chat with everyone myself and spike bid our farewells and headed off as we had to get to assault.
as i didnt have a life available to cart me and my kit to and from the venue i had to copy all of my stuff from my main pc onto my laptop and then pack all of my other kit into my bags.
made it down to glo for about 8:30 and was glad that the projector had already been setup though it wasnt positioned correctly(but that was easily fixed) i got setup and after a few panicking moments (laptop refused to find arkaos installation) had everything running by the time the doors opened so i went and had a drink before it was time for my sets.
over all the night went well, i was happy with the visuals and came up with some ideas for next time as well as receiving plenty of good and constructive comments from both the dj's and the crowd. the night itself was quieter then i would have liked but it was better then no-one turning up at all.
::Saturday::
had a very lazy day as i had no commitments. when i finally got up i sorted out all of my kit from the night before and made a few notes for the next time i vj and also a list of content ideas. other then that it was spent reading, listening to music and generally chilling out.
::Sunday::
did some more work on a few of my web projects, though i really need to get on and get my own sites sorted out. went out to see my parents again and of course get a free meal. other then that another quite day.
back to work tomorrow and i have a feeling its going to be busy again.
