So I left Rome 2 days ago. Unfortunately I didn’t get to see the Sistine Chapel. :( Oh well… that just gives me a good excuse to go back sometime. I shared a train to Venice with a couple of guys that stayed at the hostel in Rome with me. Come to find out, they were also at the Firenze Inn the night I made hamburgers for everybody. We made it home!
I've been meaning to tell you....when you go to Venice it's their National Holiweek, the museums will be closed. And make sure you get the latest version of their street map, the old version is all wrong.
P.S. Be sure and upgrade to the blast proof tent when you stay at the campground.

Can't believe that those who have been to Italy didnt already tell you what bird you heard and saw. I will ID the bird for you. It was a Fringuello bird. Rusty breast and gray nape, with black tail and white spots on the primary coverts.Likes urban areas of Venice Now got any more birds for me to ID;-) Enjoy your journey.
