I lean over to turn on the radio inside the beat up truck I’m driving, wincing when all I hear is static. “I just had you fixed.” I complained as I turned it off and turned back to the road

When the door opened, I was in the middle of saying, "All right, now I'm getting bored and calling security. Buh-bye now!" And then our strike force would have hauled him off and made funny shapes of his innards.
I got interrupted by a knocking at my door right in the middle of "getting bored" and turned to see a woman coming in... Young. Light hair. Pretty. But not prettier than me, which is what matters. She was looking for Lindsey. I smiled and turned back to him. "We have company, Lindsey."
I took another shot as she threatened to call for security. That was just like Liliah to call for back-up when things get rough. I look over at Lilah, when I heard a very familiar voice. I turn my head to the side and look at the door and there stood my girl.
I quickly stood up and made my way over to her, and kissed her. I smile for a minute, wrap an arm around her, then wondered what time it was. I check my watch and I must of been running a little late.
"Hey baby, Sorry I'm running a little late. Just have a little more business to take care of."
I didn't like that she came in here, nor did I like her being near Liliah. She'd eat her alive with one gulp, luckily she was after me at the moment. I stare at her from across the room, she looked a little more intrigued at the moment. This wasn't going to be good.
"Well Liliah, this is Tara and Tara this is the most evil person you'll ever meet."
I smiled as Lindsey came up to me. I kissed him back, feeling the woman's gaze on me, looking me over. Ignoring her I smiled at him. "It's ok, I should have waited in the car." I felt Lindsey put his arm around me possessively, like this woman was going to snatch me away or something.
I could tell Lindsey felt a little uneasy with me there, I looked up at him questionably. I wondered if this was part of his 'unfinished business' or something else.
I was tempted to ask him about this place but a part of me wasn't so sure I wanted to know.
"Well Lilah, this is Tara and Tara this is the most evil person you'll ever meet."
I looked over at Lilah and glanced her over. "Hello Miss Morgan." I said softly, turning to look at Lindsey. "Sweetie, can we head home soon?" This place gave me the creeps but I didn't want to say anything to him.
The cold stare coming from her gave me nothing but satisfaction. I grabbed tightly onto Tara's hand, I tried to focus all my attention on her but I wanted to know what exactly was going through Liliah's head.
"Liliah, I think you maybe being tad bit rude"
I smile, this pleased me in many ways knowing that I got Liliah side tracked for a minute. I stare at Tara, I could sense that she hated this place. I did too, but I wasn't done just yet. I put my lips against her ears, "Just a couple more minutes then we're out I swear."
This being Sunday, and a staff meeting was near, I could tell Liliah was gathering all kinds of information she could get her hands on. I kiss Tara on the forehead before breaking my hold on her. I walked over to Liliah's desk, and put my hands on a chair.
"Now I thought I might ask you one more time. If you would ever be so gracious, Oh wait, You don't know anything about Angel."
I narrow my eye's at her, then back away, "Good luck at your staff meeting, Hope you can keep your head."
I watched as Lilah and Lindsey exchanged stares. I could tell they were far from friends and I couldn't help but wonder why Lindsey would be here, in a place like this, with someone like that if he didn't get along with them.
"Just a couple more minutes then we're out I swear."I looked up at him and gave his hand a squeeze, trying not to shiver at his voice so close. "I'm going to hold you to that Lindsey." I murmured against his ear

I started to make my way over to her, I smile as only she could compliment the most horrible of people. I put my arm around her, as I thought we were about to leave. I started to get very excited, nothing like spending time with your girl before you had to head back to work.
"Sweetie, where's your office? Is it on this floor or another?"My eye's widen a bit, and I had to admit I was almost a little upset with her. Liliah didn't know and I wasn't supposed to tell her till the next morning. I let out a grunt as I take my arm off of Tara. I take a few breathes as I look at her face. I didn't want to be upset and I couldn't, not with her. I shrugged it off and placed her hand in mine. I smile, as I pull her hand up and give it kiss
( ... )
I felt Lindsey stiffen for a moment and I bit my lip and looked down. I guess I said the wrong thing or he didn't want Lilah to know. His mood softened again when I looked up at him, I relaxed a bit when he kissed my hand. He was so sweet sometimes.
I didn't like this place at all, it was filled with bad Karma but I was only here for one reason, Lindsey. As long as he needed and wanted me here I'd be there for him. I just had to make sure that he was safe while he was here. I'd found him by some twist of fate, I wasn't ready to lose him or see him hurt.
I smiled and wrapped my arms around his waist as he pulled me closer, I nodded. "Yes, I'd love too." I laced my fingers with his and kissed his cheek lightly. "Lead me." I murmured, just a bit of suggestion in my voice. I gave Lilah a small polite smile as Lindsey lead me out of the room. "It was nice to meet you Ms. Morgan. I promise I won't keep Lindsey away for too long..."
I took her a couple doors down till we had finally arrived. After we walked in I shut the door, hoping Liliah wouldn't spoil the mood right away. I knew she might just barge in but there's nothing like being caught to make you enjoy the moment. I grabbed her by the waist as I started to point at everything in the room..
"That's my file cabinet....Those are my nicely stocked book shelves....That's my wonderful view....this is my empty desk" I grab her with both arms and sit her down on the desk, "And this is my very gorgeous girl, on top of my desk."
I put both of my hands on her face, and pressed my lips against hers. I gently guide her back and start to caress her hair. This was probably the only time I would ever enjoy this office, why not make it last. I start to laugh a little, as her cold nose tickled mine. I continued to smile,
I followed him down the hall and smiled as he led me into the room. He pointed everything out and before I could utter a word he sat me on his desk. "Ohhh." I closed my eyes when I felt his warm hands on my face, I kissed him softly and felt him push me back on his desk. I ran my hands up his back and tangled it in his hair.
I bit my lip and blushed slightly when he mentioned heat. "No." I murmured against his lips. "It's getting warmer already..." I pulled him to me and kissed him softly, flicking my tongue over his bottom lip before I felt him kissing down my jaw to my neck. "Ohhh..." My breath caught in my throat and I bit my lip as I moaned. "Lin-Lindsey..." I squirmed a bit under him. "S-sweetie, that's mean..." I bit my lip and shuddered when he nipped at my neck again.
I bit her neck gently as I possibly could. My right hand stayed close to her face as my left gently rubbed her arm up and down. I smiled as I looked back up at her. I slightly look back at the door, no sign of her yet. Maybe she's still in shock.
I took my mind off of her, it started to ruin my buzz. "Sorry baby, do you want me to stop?" I slightly joked as I went back to her neck. I felt tension built up around, now I knew this place was getting to her.
I quickly stop as I look into her eyes. Although i knew she probably wouldn't tell me, but her eye's can never lie. I could smell my breath and it wrecked of Southern Comfort, I wondered if that may also be bothering her. I took her hand in mine,
Lindsey was a tease, and he knew it. I moaned and ran my hand over his neck, loving how he knew just what to do that turned me on my ear and make me forget about everything but him.
He pulls back and looks into my eyes. I know what's coming next, Lindsey only stares into my eyes that intently if he wants to know if I'm telling the truth about something. I dart my eyes away from him and sigh.
"Does this place make you uncomfortable?"I nervously chew the inside of my cheek and try to come up with the right words to tell him how I feel but keep him from getting upset. "Well..." I took a deep breath and looked up at him, slowly running my hand down his cheek. "Yes, very much. There's so much bad Karma here it's vibrating off the walls." I sighed and looked down, playing with the tails of his tie. "I don't understand why you came back Lindsey, we had such a good life, we were starting something good
( ... )
I hugged her, I didn't know exactly where this was coming from. I knew she could sense vibes from anything, this place must have scared her, just as she walked in. With everything that has and probably is going on right now, if I were in her shoes, I'd have never came in. I kissed her forehead, hoping to ease and also send her some reassuring vibes.
"It's okay baby" I grabbed her hands, as my mind raced to find something to tell her.
I didn't want it to come out wrong and I really did enjoy where we were. "Darlin' you're perfect for me. You're the only one that keeps me in line." I take her hand and gently kiss it, "I just have some unfinished business to take care of." I shrugged it off and just took her into my arms. I didn't want to say much more, I wouldn't want to hurt her in any way.
I hugged him back and looked at him as he spoke. I thought I saw a flash of worry - maybe scared - cross his face and I knew he was being straight with me.
I ran my hand over his cheek and nodded. "O-ok. I'll be here if you want me. I love what we have. I don't want to give that up." I leaned forward and kissed him lightly, nipping at his bottom lip before resting my head against his. "So umm you said you were going to do something about the heat..." I looked up at him and ran my hands down his arms before linking his fingers with mine.
I let out a moan as she tugged at my bottom lip, always have to love that. I was about to continue on with what we are doing, but I felt as though this wasn't right in...some...odd way.. She wasn't comfortable I got that, I grabbed her hands and rubbed my thumb around hers.
"I want you along my side, but more importantly I want you to be where you feel comfortable..."
I held her close to me, wondering if I was saying the right things. "Maybe it would be best.. If we just went home and continued this.."
I suggested hoping things wouldn't get to out of wack. NOw if only we could make it out of here without Lilah's interruption...
"I want you along my side, but more importantly I want you to be where you feel comfortable..."
I smiled up at him and ran my hand down his cheek. "I'm comfortable when I'm with you." He hugged me and I held onto him, I didn't know or understand everything that was going on but I trusted him. He didn't give me any other reason not too.
I grinned and kissed his neck, loving how he shivered. "Yeah, why don't we head home. I've missed you and I hate that I don't get to see you."
I slowly slid off the desk and took his hand, leading us to the door. "Let's go sweetie."
