I lied on the ground looking at the ceiling of the lobby as I took in breathes of air to contemplate for the few moments of being choked. I felt numb again. No pain. No anger. Nothing. It kind of worked for me though. All the attacks she was landing should have hurt...if I let them, but I pushed them aside.
"Locking your dad up, under water for him to see the fish. That’s the work of a crazy persons mind."
"If you say so..."
I flipped up to my feet then tilted my head back and forth to work out a few kinks. I looked Fred over in question. For someone so smart, she sure did some amazingly stupid things. Standing up to Faith would be one of them. I heal fast...she didn't, not that I knew of.
"I was raised in a place where humans weren't the supreme species. Demons outnumbered us 10 fold, and I'm not talking the weak half blood demons you have running around here. Pure blood demons. You might think your hot stuff, but...you're just a fool."
My featured hardened as I glared at her. In a quick motion I grabbed hold of an office chair and hurlked it at her. She dodged it, but didn't have enough time to dodge the one I sent right after it. It knocked her back, but she was up pretty quick.
"So, if I am 'crazy'...there's my excuse." Tilting my head questioningly I kept my sights on her as I strolled slowly behind the desk. "What's yours?"
With a final burst of speed I opened one of the desk drawers and pulled out a small pistol which was equipped with tranq darts. I know..'cause I had been responsible for re-loading the gun after every use. Taking aim I shot once, hitting her in the leg. I knew it wouldnt take her down. It was only one dart after all, but maybe it would have some affect on her mouth 'cause I'm sick of hearing her talk.
I tossed the pistol back to Fred. If she was gonna stupidly step in each time Faith took a swing at me she should have some sort of protection.

My mind started to race faster than before, all this time I've never thought about his life in Quartoth. The hardships that he must of been through, the pain he had felt...All of this was very unfortunate, and in some ways I could relate.
I put my hands on my face, this..all of this.. I couldn't believe what Faith or Connor for that matter were doing to each other. If I hadn't kept chiming in between them I was sure they would've killed each other by now.
Before anything could however, I watched as Connor darted for the tranquilizer gun and shot her in the leg. I grab my head in frustration all of this has gone to far...All of this has reached it's peak. After handing me the gun I threw it on the ground. I stood up but kept my eye's on the ground...
