:D Brawl keeping tigers was so unexpected and delightful. That, and calling them 'his cats'. Adds a new dimension to him. Obviously, he shouldn't be stealing tigers, but just the fact that he likes them enough to take good care of them and just enjoy their presence is really, really sweet.

Between that and just wanting to pet or hold First Aid, and his possessiveness of Swindle last chapter, makes me think he's got a big of a soft spot for things he finds cute. Pity he's not able to be more gentle.

He and Vortex are still clearly viewing Aid as 'not quite a person' though, that much is obvious. Neither of them even considered First Aid to have an opinion until he made himself heard. He's like a special treasure, or a pet.

Blast off and Onslaught are a little better. There, he's a nuisance, and a prisoner, but a person.

Not sure how I feel about First Aid giving in to the programming urges- its making his life easier for the short term, but how will he do in the long? Vortex, on the other hand, is happy as a clam. He's got his pretty medic, his pretty medic who doesn't even need to be forced (at least, from Vortex's perspective) into sex, who's still got his pep- could life get any better?

(Oh- forgot to mention last chapter- I love the hell out of the little modified drone. So cute! It only wants some lovings.)

Brawl liking tigers is something that came up last year in an email conversation with naboru, and somehow got brought up on Twitter a few weeks back. There was going to be a tiger in the box initially, but a toddler was far more creepy.

Ah Brawl, one day he'll get someone to reduce the power to his arms, and then he can hug everything.

Not sure how I feel about First Aid giving in to the programming urges- its making his life easier for the short term, but how will he do in the long? Damned good question, that. As best he can, I think. I have a vague idea how this is going to end, and I can't see it being all that happy.
