Wheee, thankyou! (LJ is weird with its apparent pressure to comment right away, but I totally don't subscribe to that. Thankyou for commenting because it really made my morning :D And with an 11 hour workday ahead of me, that is very welcome!)

oh gods, this is about to get rambly and introspective, sorry about that!

I have a lot to learn about writing longer stories. I wrote the chapter with Blades after I'd written 6 chapters of the rest of it, because I wanted to explore a bit of what might have happened to make First Aid do what he did. And it was only after posting it that I realised it might be a little very misleading considering it's Chapter 1, but I reasoned that I'd started posting so I should continue, and I should just learn from it and carry on as planned (if it was original fiction, I'd have torn the whole thing apart and started again. No editor in their right mind would put up with my shenanigans!).

I'm planning on going back to the Protectobots and looking at the dynamic between Blades and First Aid before posting the next plot arc. Here's hoping that works out!

But anyway, YAY, and thankyou! :D :D :D I'm so glad you enjoyed this, and that V came across as problematically sympathetic despite being an evil, conniving bastard (seriously, I'm so pleased about the problematic sympathy thing, and sympathies lying with both sides, because that's what I aimed for and YAYSQUEEEEEEEEEEE :D).

Onslaught takes away everyone's fun! Poor Vortex, it's so hard being him.
