Well, Perceptor's got a big chunk of it . . . and isn't doing so well, is he?

I'm beginning to think dealing with Vortex is like training a dog---positive reinforcement works best, but you might need to let a few things slide and hunt for excuses to give it to him, at first.

Poor Vortex, not trusting the Autobots---if they knew he was afraid of the box, they could use that to work with him in a way that's beneficial to him (because it's when they lack a good hold over him that they have no choice but to do worse), but he's hiding it. Hopefully there's someone seeing the monitor cams that he froze, either now or later.

I imagine that's what Blast Off tries with him :P Along with just plain ignoring him when he does anything he doesn't like.

Problem with ignoring is, he refuses to accept it and he'll create his own positive reinforcement if given even a few seconds of it. You can't just ignore bad behavior, you gotta be constantly distracting him from it with something else.

jkghfgs I love Vortex. He's so incredibly creepy and fantastically manipulative. I love how he tries out all these different things on all of his guards, figuring out how to get to them individually. What I love even more than that is that this time, someone got to him. Oh my yes :3

I loved that line so much. It's so cool being able to see into that dark, scared core of him a little bit. ♥

Also, "grabbable horns" had me swooning, I will admit. That's hot. o_o
