Last night was absolutely awesome! I MET PETER PAN (aka Cathy Rigsby)!!!!!!!!
Mandi came and picked me up from work at 5 and we were on our way. We found our way to the music hall and then decided an adventure was in the works for food. So we got in the car and started driving. We ended up going through race seperation central and eventually found our way to an italian grill called Carraba's. Which I love Dashboard, so I thought it was a good sign. But JEEEEESSSSSSSSE! This place was high class and expensive. We split a pizza, which was absolutely amazing. Oh it was good. And then we decided to try the heartattack on a plate. Never before have I tasted such heaven. It was a homade brownie, topped with homemade chocolate mousse, topped with homemade whipped creme, then another brownie, mousse, and whipped creme...all sitting on and feathered with a sundae style hot chocolate sauce. MANDI AND I DEMOLISHED IT!! Oh it was amazing. We got in and out of there for 15 dollars (there abouts, not including tip) which was the cost of a normal dinner.
We're good. But anyway, we realized that it was 7:40 and the musical started at 8, so we hastened way out of there. We made it to the musical about 3 min until curtains opened and found our seats. Lizz was running a bit late since she DROVE FROM HOUSTON!! So the curtains opened and it was like I was a little kid again. Lizz arived after the first act (the bedroom scene) and we proceeded to watch the rest of the musical with a child like zeal that the little one were pressed to beat. WHEN PETER FLEW THERE WAS SOOO MUCH GLITTER. And if you asked me the fact that you could kinda see the string just made it all the better....After the curtains closed we rushed down stairs and made room for ourselves in a long line filled with sleepy and excited children and their smiling parents and bounced up and down and chattered until she came!! Cathy Rigsby to sign our things! We got up to her and talked to her for a few moments! I answered her like a giddy little girl and told her we giggled the whole time. And then I said "And SHE drove all the way from houston" (pointing to Lizz) that made her smile. She even said to me "Your inner child coming out?" It was wonderful! And gave Lizz the funniest face when she ask if Cathy would sign her book "To Pan." hahahah. We got a picture with her and some fairy dust of our own. After this is was time to go home and fall into bed for dreams filled with flying boys, Indians, and dreaded pirates. Life was grand.

THANKS MANDI FOR THE BEST BIRTHDAY PRESENT EVER!
