It seems the plans for the tournament are moving along now, which is good, as it has been some time since the first mentions of it. It has been awhile since Battle City, so I am glad this one is getting closer to beginning.

That is more or less the only interesting thing to comment on.

That means you are also participating in that tournament? Actually...what kind of tournament is it? And what's a battle city? *sheepish grin*

*Nods* Yes, I am. *Amused* It's a Duel Monsters tournament. Battle City was a very large tournament that Kaiba held, and it was most recent tournament. The one aibou and I participated in before Battle City was called Duelist Kingdom.

That means you'll be playing against Yuugi-kun! Won't that be odd? I see, you are all going to be playing the card game *nods in understanding* Maboroshi...it won't be dangerous right?

Yes; if I win all of the other rounds, I will play against Yuugi. It will be a bit odd, as we rarely duel against each other. Yes, that is correct. *Frowns slightly* It's impossible to tell, with Duel Monsters. It seems Yami no Malik is invited, so it's possible it will be somewhat dangerous if he feels like making it so.

Fighting against friends must make it twice as hard. It won't be easy. *nods* *frowns* I talked with that man a bit...I really don't trust him...

Yes, it is always difficult to duel against a friend, but it is also usually a very good duel as long as there is no consequence for the loser aside from being knocked out of the tournament. *Nods* There is a good reason to not trust him; he is incredibly dangerous.

Like when you dueled Rishid-sama. Will people be allowed to see the duels? The ones that are not a part of the tournament I mean...I would like to go if possible. *eyes widen* Really? Are you sure? Because...huh...oh no. *looks really worried* Maboroshi...could you tell this to Pharaoh-sama please?

Yes, I suppose so. I'm not certain; possibly. In the other tournaments, we could bring people to watch though we weren't really supposed to and I think part of Battle City was broadcast, but Pegasus will likely let people watch. *Nods* I am very sure, Mana. You should avoid him if at all possible. *Tilts his head* What is wrong? Yes, I can tell him; I think I did a long time ago, but he's probably forgotten with everything that is going on.

I think I'll ask him if he doesn't mind. One was very fun to watch, I can only wonder how so many different people playing might be.

I'll do so but...he was speaking about challenging Pharaoh-sama. He asked me if I thought he would bet his puzzle in a game. I don't think Pharaoh-sama knows how dangerous he can be...if you could warn him without telling I said this. *whispers* I don't think he would like me telling this to anyone.

*Nods* He'll probably be alright with it.

*Frowns* I'm not surprised. Yami no Malik is interested in the Items, so if he thinks he has a better chance of winning the Puzzle, especially a working version, from the Pharaoh, then he would try. I will try to find a way to warn him without mentioning this, yes.

I hope so...if not I can always wish you all good luck.

But he has no right to them. And it's a huge burden to carry, he shouldn't even try to do so. *looks more relieved* Thank you Maboroshi *smiles slightly*

No, he certainly has no right to them. He has one, actually, though I don't know exactly why he seems to want the rest. He may simply be bored. *Smiles slightly* You're welcome.

He has one? But...*feels huge headache coming* Maboroshi...what is the item he has? I don't go around getting powerful items when I'm bored.

*Nods* He does, yes. It's the Rod. *Slightly amused* You're not Yami no Malik, either.

The Rod? *bits lip worriedly* I see...I should say this to both Pharaoh-sama and Set-sama. *thinks especially Set* Thank the Gods *mutters*

*Nods* Obviously, the Rod is one of the more dangerous Items. He also has the God Card of Ra. Under no circumstance should the Pharaoh rush off recklessly to accept any sort of challenge.
