It seems the plans for the tournament are moving along now, which is good, as it has been some time since the first mentions of it. It has been awhile since Battle City, so I am glad this one is getting closer to beginning.
That is more or less the only interesting thing to comment on.

Private to aibou )
*eyes wide* Of course not! I don't have any reason to tell her! Maybe it's because you spend so much time on the Playstation or just goofing around that she noticed herself your job wasn't that much exerting to you ^___________^;;
Caramel... and chocolate chip..? Pleeeeeaaaaase??
Reply
*Slightly amused* Well, then your threat is gone, because she's somehow gotten the idea on her own. And I do not spend my time 'goofing off', I have perfectly good things I'm doing. I've nearly beaten all of your scores, you need to start playing more unless you want my name on all the records on your games.
*Laughs and rolls his eyes* Fine, fine.

T__T I swear, I haven't mentioned this at all to her, mou hitori no boku. I think she's been timing you on the PlayStation, as she did with me when she was thinking I wasn't spending enough time on homework. Good things like what? Dueling with Shizuka-chan? ^__^ We'll see about that, mister.
YAY!
Reply
...Your mother needs new hobbies, aibou, if she wanders around timing how long people do things. And yes, good things like that. And like playing video games. You'd better hurry; you've got a lot to catch up on.
*Gives him the bag of cookies, amused*
Reply
... Do you want to risk your life in telling her that? She knows from me that I'm doing school work, jii-chan has the shop, and you go outside to duel and have fun and not.. work. ^__^ Oh, you bet I'm going to! I want to play, after all these exams!
*rips bag of cookies open, eating two in a row* Yum..!
Reply
...No, I'm not to going to risk it unless she does anything particularly annoying. *Sighs* I have work too, whether or not it's particularly difficult, and I always have to be on standby in case the world... Explodes... Or some such. *Smirks* Get to it then, aibou; I'm certainly not loosing any scores the more time goes on.
*Amused* You're supposed to chew the cookies before you swallow them, aibou.

Remember, she's very quick with the ladle. *nods* I know, mou hitori no boku. The problem is, she can see jii-chan working, and she sees you on the couch with the PlayStation controller in your hand crushing my records, you evil man you. , see? And kaa-san doesn't understand the standing by bit... and if the world explodes, we're gone in a second, so that's a moot point, mou hitori no boku. *huffs* All right, all right! Sheesh! Go pester a kid in the Arcade hall!
*beams* Point taken, mou hitori no boku! *chews*
Reply
*Rubs his head* I've noticed. *Sighs again* Yes, I know. Though she could pay a little more attention to what I'm doing when I'm not playing video games. Your records were asking for it, aibou. *Pouts a bit* That why I said 'or some such'. *Smirks* Perhaps I will.
*Laughs* Much better, aibou. *Takes a cookie also*

*winces* You too, huh? *smiles* Oh the times when you are supposed to be resting, especially after you make a post in your freakin' LiveJournal at half past one in the evening? We'll see about that. You're getting too cocky, mister. It's okay, mou hitori no boku, I understand. *looks at him* Why am I thinking you WILL do it?
*holds up the bag for him, taking another cookie* Mmm... yummy!
Reply
*Nods, still rubbing his head* She could get my attention by just saying my name, but I suppose that's not as fun. *Sweatdrop* Erm... Yes. *Smirks* Aibou, this is how I always am, remember? I can't help but defeat your game records. Oh, alright. *Amused* Because I'm already considering it?
*Inspecting the cookies* How do they make caramel into these little squares? I thought caramel was more liquid.
Reply
*grins* Mou hitori no boku, when she calls your name.. you're in very, very, very deep trouble. *crosses arms* You do remember what I told you last time we discussed this, don't you? You have waaaay too much time on your hands, mou hitori no boku. Fine, I'll set some new records so you can challenge yourself by breaking them again. ^___^ I'm sure you'll find a real job someday :). *shakes head* You're not going to pester a kid in the Arcade, mou hitori no boku! You know people can hardly tell us apart, and before you know it I have this reputation of being a bully! Here, have a stress ball!
I wouldn't know, mou hitori no boku. Must be something in the manufacturing process... however they do it, it tastes great! *munches on another cookie*
Reply
Really? How strange. *Doesn't understand Yuugi's mother at all* I'll remember that. You would think it would be the other way around. *Nods hesistantly* Though I have... Excuses. No I don't. I simply don't have enough to do in my free time. And good, that will be fun. Evil, aibou. *Smirks* I was simply going to go challenge some overconfident kid to some video games, that's all. *Looks dubiously at the stress ball* ...For some reason, I don't think that's especially effective.
*Shrugs and eats his own cookie*

*sheepish* Kaa-san whacks with the ladle to get your attention or to call your attention to something she thinks it's important or needs to be extra stressed. If she calls you cutesy names, you're fine. If she calls you by your full name, you're in deep trouble. *hardly understand his own mother as well* Oh, really? *tilts his head* I'm listening, mou hitori no boku. Then you need a hobby, or less free time! What about doing some sports? Going to a club? Crocheting? I'll make it extra difficult for you, just watch me. Not as evil as you not having to go to work, get to sleep in, not having to punch in or out, and general hanging around. ^__^ Oh, like that. I was already thinking... well, some of them certainly deserve someone to put them in their place. *grins* You can try how many times you can squeeze it and try to break your record!
*eats happily some more*

*Grumbles* She could just... Throw a sock or something. If anyone else hit me with a ladle, they would regret it. *Mentally taking notes* Alright, I suppose that makes enough sense. *Nods, and sounds a bit like he's rehersed what to say* I've been feeling better, and so when I rest in the afternoon, it's hard to fall asleep again later. *Looks somewhat unenthusiastic* I don't like sports... What sort of club? Crocheting? Good; you do that. *Pokes* I've started going to work now, the sleeping is your fault, I don't know what you're talking about, and... Alright, I can't deny the last one. *Smirks* We should both go; the arcade won't know what hit it. *Blinks* That doesn't sound all that amusing, just... Time consuming.
*Amused with how happy he is because of the cookies*
Reply
*smiles* I think she's reached the conclusion that whacking with a ladle gets the best effect and response, mou hitori no boku. *purses his lips, frowning* Can you look me in the eyes and give me a honest response? If you're really feeling that better, you can skip resting in the afternoon, but being online hours after midnight... *stifles laugh* There are so many sports, even one for you! .. ehm, there's a living chess club.. you can always become a member of a acting club, or a fishing club.. whatever you want.. *returns the poke* You're still far more at home than anyone else with a 9 to 5 deskjob, mou hitori no boku, the sleeping is for your own good and punching in and out is if you have a physical job, like working at a factory in shifts? Hanging around gives a lazy impression. *nods* Sure, mou hitori no boku! We can go together and rack up the old scores. *grins* Time consuming and apparently lowering your stress levels.
*beams in bliss at him*
Reply
*Slightly amused* Does she like getting scowled at, then? Because that's the response she gets from me before I go do whatever she's asking me to do. *Frowns slightly also* Yes. I'm simply not able to sleep for that much time, aside from the fact that there are better things I'd rather be doing. *Amused* Oh, is that so? Do you have a sport you like, aibou? *Amused by all three clubs Yuugi mentioned, and smirks* Is there a Duel Monsters club? *Pokes back* But there's no need to work more simply for the sake of doing it, either. Yes, yes, I know. I suppose that makes sense... And it's not really 'hanging around', I'm simply... Taking it easy. *Smiles* We could probably get the high scores on every machine in the arcade... Except for the DDR one. *Amused* If you say so, aibou.
*Smiles back, taking another cookie*
