Who Knew That Words Could Mean So Much?

I went back to Hoover last weekend. I have gone back for the last two months it seems. No one seems to mind, so I do it. Sunday, I went to church with my girlfriend. She is the one who got me going to church. I have never thanked her for that, but one day I will. On Sunday, during the service, the pastor, who we all love and adore, Buddy Gray, said something very influential that day. He actually said two things that influenced me greatly.
Buddy said that he didn't say he loved someone (other than his family) until he knew he was going to marry that person. When he told his future wife that he loved her, she knew that they would be wed. In his other relationships, he just usually said he "liked" that person a lot. It was a laugh riot in there after that. He said that the phrase "I love you" is not just a phrase but it's a commitment. You are committing your life to that person. Needless to say, I am ready to commit my life to that person. Elizabeth, I do love you. I always will. A life without you is a pointless life. I love you Elizabeth.
Now, on to the second thing Buddy said. Until the end of the year, Buddy will be discussing the balanced life. He said, on that particular Sunday, that you must find God if you are lead a balanced life. He said that your God is what you think of when your mind drifts away during church, or when you are day dreaming in class. I think I had the funniest response of anyone. The thing is that I was sitting in the balcony, so no one could see it. I looked over to my left, and stared at Elizabeth and pointed at her. All she did was smile, and I really mean it. My every thought revolves around Elizabeth, and it will continue for as long as I am alive. It really will.

P.S. I LOVE YOU ELIZABETH
