President Bush is the first President since Roe v. Wade to re-criminalize abortion. He's also nominated anti-choice Samuel Alito to replace moderate Justice Sandra Day O'Connor on the Supreme Court. And Bush and our anti-choice Congress have even more strategies to restrict our right to privacy and choice, including taking over the lower federal courts, blocking funds to family-planning organizations, funding risky "abstinence-only" programs instead of honest sex education, and promoting ideology over science.
Right now, just being pro-choice isn't enough to protect our privacy, a woman's right to choose, and access to birth control, sex education, reproductive health care.
