Who killed the mockingbird?

Late review/comment.

Soc and I watched the Singapore production of 'To Kill A Mocking Bird' last Saturday.  Soc had some vague knowledge of the plot, whereas i went in clueless. Especially the climatic scene of the verdict handed down by the jury was pretty 'omgwtf' to me, while everyone else seemed at ease with it.

For a s'pore production, it's pretty good. The acting were believable, convincing, and not over the top. Except for some of the characters'  accent which were jarring or hard to hear.

And am half in love (with his skills mind you :P) with the person who protrayed as Atticus Finch. He's pretty damn good, and when he (literally) took the spotlight,  everyone was enraptured.

My other complain? Too many kids in the theatre. But hey, if it helps their takings, I can overlook their incessant and loud chatter before the play and during the intermission.
