10 years. It's been damn near 10 years since I posted anything here. I wonder if anyone I know even looks at this site anymore?

The UI is clean. That's nice.

The previous post is so out of date it's fairly laughable. I wonder what this post will look like to 2030 me?

Honestly, I'd be shocked if LJ still exists in 2030.

I hope it's still here in 10 years; I haven't figured out how to DL an archived copy for me. :-P

Survey says: sort-of.

1) Slow b/c 1 month at a time x 20 years
2) The instructions aren't 100% accurate for how to make it work but I figured it out b/c too stubborn to give up until I ran out of ideas on what might be not working

It's not ideal, but it is *a* solution.

Well, I tried to find a script to download them in bulk...and apparently triggered something on the livejournal.com servers, because now my IP is banned. 😜

I guess I'll email them n' see if I can get un-banned... (thank goodness for VPNs)

Hmmm...I'm sorry to hear that / thank you for trying!

Me: inadvertantly causing other people to break computer-things since ... basically forever. (In college I had a couple friends try to help with other, somewhat-similar & seemingly-innocuous things I wanted to automate. Their attempts were also met with "NO!" and lock-outs.)
