Today was pretty cool. Me and my mom had a Shotsy and Jeremy adventure. This basically means that we went somewhere and did things without any plan what-so-ever.

In this case, we went to a funeral in Lorain Ohio. Neither of us were especially close to the guy who died, so we weren't especially sad or anything. We saw many interesting things on the way though. Such as a house that was collapsing on itself. And a "Railraod Excempt" sign. And a little house for the mailmen to hide in while being attacked by dogs. And Pickle Street. And over a hundred dead animals. And some cows standing in a pond. We stopped for lunch in some town called Gas City. The only restaurants in town were KFC and Taco Bell. And there were in the same building. And you ordered at the same counter. And it was filled with people who were either old, or pregnant. And this one lady yelled across the room to her husband "I want a buritto with no beans!" We blame this town for the ridiculous gas prices.

When we got there we went to the showing for an hour, then tried to decide if we would eat with everybody. We decided not to. Then we had to decide if we would come back after we ate to the next two hours of the showing we decided not to. Then we had to choose if we were going to go to the actual funeral the next day. We decided not to. Then we had to decide if we would stay the night at a hotel. We decided not to.

So after that we got lost trying to find someplace to eat and then came back home. On the way home we saw some "wine plants." Sampled some delightful smells including skunk and cow pies. Found the Integrity car dealership located in Defiance. Saw a house with horns. Crossed Old Woman Creek. Saw that cool thing where you can see the rays of sunlight comming out of the clouds (decided Mufasa was trying to speak to us). And Mom said "You're related to a baby! Isn't that cool?"

The weirdest thing was that we didn't listen to any music at all the entire time. Well we listened to one song once, but that was it. So it was just a whole bunch of really random events.

For a while it felt like we'd get home and find that years had gone by. Then it felt like we'd been driving all our lives and had never done anything else except make random stops to eat or be hugged by people we don't know. It was a 12 hour drive there and back. About 600 miles total. But I kinda didn't want it to end. It was really cool getting to talk about anything and everything with only scenery to distract you. My mom is pretty much amazing.
