I'm good, actually. Well, this week has been a truly fantastic combination of food poisoning and having my account hacked, but generally good. Still doing my PhD, although the (theoretical) end is rushing up far more quickly than I'd like.
I got into a state of mind where I was feeling really guilty for not updating LJ, so I was avoiding even reading it (a great tactic, I know), which made me even less likely to update, and so on... Anyway, I was really happy to see your comment. :) How are you?
Generally, I'm good. ;) Except that I woke up with a fever and feel dizzy. I feel guilty for having to call in sich, since we're understaffed this week already.
I have applied your tactics extensively in 2012 but then started missing LJ. I still update very rarely and I'm not any better with commenting than I used to be. Isn't it comforting that some things never change?
The PhD is ... still moving. I think that's the best I can say about it at the moment. I have a lot written, and I think I have a central thesis emerging, but I can't help feeling massively behind schedule and as if I need an extra six months. As you said, some things never change. ;)
