Today in history, September 11th, 2001, meant only a spark of Patriotism that lead to the deaths of tens of thousands of Afghanni and Iraqi civilians, and only a few of the people who may have even maybe a little deserved any punishment. Today in history kicked off soaring approval ratings for the cruelest, most ignorant, greediest, most incompetent, most fascist, most racist, sorry excuse for a man there ever was.
Civilians killed in WTC Attacks: 2,986
Civilians killed in the "War on Terrorism": 27,963 [And that's just to-date...who knows what the final figure will be?]
Yeah, REAL fucking righteous, huh?
George Bush spent the day comforting families of those who died in the World Trade Center attacks, while totally ignoring the goings of the Gulf Coast. On that same day, Al Gore made use of his resources, helicoptoring helpless victims of the disaster out of the town himself, knot afraid to take time out of his life of luxury to get up close and personal, down and dirty with things that need to be taken care of.
My point is that WTC happened a long time ago, and it was taken advantage of in order to further the Iraqi agenda. To this day, people still whine over it when there are bigger and more urgent issues within our own country. There are people in the world who really care about the well-being of the people who have suffered from this incident, and there are others who sit in their office and try to account for their apathy.
And now I leave you with this...
